As a principal software engineer, I help lead software architecture and development within the Distributed Cloud team. Our team is responsible for deploying compute at the edge which allows Tableau customers to connect their on-premise data to Tableau Cloud. I designed and built an automated and secure service for installing and remotely managing kubernetes clusters on the customer premise. I integrated a Large Language model API for analyzing log files for more vastly more effective troubleshooting.

At Tableau, a SalesForce company, I architected, built and maintain continual delivery pipelines used by over a thousand Tableau engineers. This service is called HammerHead and allows engineers and tech support teams to spin up AWS EC2 clusters and automatically install Tableau products. This pipeline has spun up more than 100k EC2 instances since it was created.Led initiatives for enhancing the efficiency and scalability of Tableau's AWS infrastructure. Designed and developed a Toll-Free number tracking database by myself which was used for at least a decade to track all allocated toll-free numbers. Worked on the network operations team to provision new circuits. Designed optimal layout for a multi-million dollar switching center. Built SS7parser.com which deciphers SS7 messages, saving the company from having to purchase a hundred-thousand-dollar commercial alternative.
