My practice focuses on construction defect litigation.

Practice includes all areas of complex civil litigation. Manage an average ongoing caseload of roughly 20 cases. Engage directly with clients, counsel, witnesses, mediators, the court, and third parties, as necessary. Conduct investigations and assemble evidence. Perform legal research. Draft and respond to pleadings, including summons, complaints, motions, declarations, proposed orders, and other briefings. Conduct discovery; draft and respond to interrogatories, requests for production, statements of damages, privilege logs, litigation holds, and subpoenas. Take and defend depositions. Perform legal analysis and advise clients on optimal strategies for achieving desired outcomes. Draft and argue summary judgment motions and other motions as needed. Negotiate settlement agreements. Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, trials, and appeals.

Drove impactful transformation through implementation of new technical solutions empowering 900 lawyers and legal staff across 57 countries.

Architected and implemented Business Intelligence and Data Analytics solutions to achieve full compliance with the European Union’s new GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), which went into effect in May 2018.

Led cross-functional teams through implementations of new enterprise solutions servicing +60M cellular subscribers; Responsible for $25M budget. Enforced internal Sarbanes–Oxley compliance through timely and accurate financial reporting. Led monthly presentation to executive leadership on compliance status.

Served as a Tank Platoon Sergeant, responsible for leading a platoon of 16 Marines and 4 tanks. Designed and implemented a training schedule that fostered the professional military development of subordinate Marines to ensure ongoing mission readiness.
