Aerzen contributed towards my university tuition fees and at times around my studies, I worked remotely, providing support with sales enquiries and IT-related queries. During the university holidays, I worked in the office, transitioning between departments to address peaks in demand, helping develop my ability to adapt and work effectively in various environments.I also played a significant role in various IT-related projects. This included test facility HMI/SCADA/PLC programming, office PC installations, and participating in the planning and execution of the server replacement.One of the highlights of my time at Aerzen was the opportunity to visit the company's branch in Sweden. I had the privilege of sharing my insights on marketing and social media activities conducted in the UK and assisted the Swedish team in establishing their own social media presence. After completing my college education, I joined the Capital Delivery department as an Internal Sales Engineer. Over time, I handled increasingly complex customer inquiries, processed orders and played a key role in training new team members.Through my work on the company's IT infrastructure, I developed strong relationships with other departments. On occasion, I was tasked with developing tools to enhance overall process efficiency.As a sales engineer with a deep understanding of our products, I actively contributed to marketing activities. This included proofreading documentation, creating social media graphics and posts, writing email newsletters, and participating in exhibitions.

I joined the company as an Apprentice while simultaneously pursuing my college education. Over a span of 3 years, I actively contributed to various departments, including sales and factory operations, which allowed me to gain invaluable experience and comprehensive knowledge of the company's products.I settled in the sales department, generating quotations and building a rapport with customers; assisting the company’s progress in the market. I spent time in the Germany HQ learning furthermore about the products, building a rapport with international colleagues and being trained in using the internal ERP/CRM tool (Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Navision), CPQ tool (Camos) and other proprietary software tools.Recognising the importance of leveraging technology to enhance productivity, I took it upon myself to immerse in the company's IT infrastructure, leading me to develop tools aimed at streamlining workflow and improving efficiency for my colleagues. I initially started here as a volunteer, helping out most weeks during the children’s special needs swimming lessons. I pursued and successfully obtained my lifeguard qualification, which led to an opportunity to join the team as a Lifeguard/Pool Staff member. This role required me to monitor the pool area while bathers were present as well as when the pool was empty, diligently identifying and addressing any potential hazards or safety concerns. I assisted and supervised swimming lessons, both on pool-side and in the office, ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing their inquiries and facilitating monetary transactions.I took pride in upholding good presentation and safety of the facilities, striving to create an inviting and safe environment for all. I was responsible for carrying out and documenting water quality checks, taking action where necessary. I attended regular training sessions to ensure my fitness and knowledge was maintained.I utilised my technical knowledge to update and streamline computer and administrative processes to save time, reduce errors and improve the customer experience.
