My focus has been ensuring that these processes align seamlessly with the Cenovus Operations Integrity Management System. In addition, I've been actively involved in developing and executing entity assurance plans and tools, assisting Western Canada upstream entities in achieving system compliance, and establishing a robust document management process for the WCU Project. Furthermore, I took the initiative to create a PPH SharePoint site, ensuring easy access for the workforce and design team members.Key Achievements:• Successfully led the project harmonizing and transitioning safe control of work processes across seven Western Canada Upstream entities, ensuring alignment with the Cenovus operations management system.• Developed and rolled out training materials for in-person sessions on safe control of work.• Contributed significantly to the creation and enhancement of online tools supporting training sustainment.

During my tenure in the COIMS & Assurance role at Cenovus, I spearheaded the gap analysis of legacy management systems amidst the merger of Husky Oil and Cenovus Energy. My responsibilities included assisting corporate teams in crafting COIMS standards and taking the lead in establishing a corporate document management process. This process was pivotal in engaging stakeholders to devise and put into effect standards and processes. In addition, I was deeply involved in the formulation and publication of corporate safe control of work standards. I also played an active part in shaping the management of change process for the introduction of new standards and was instrumental in the release of the new Cenovus Management System and guidance post the merger.

In my role as Senior Advisor for Health and safety Programs at Cenovus, I took the initiative to develop and author multiple health and safety programs, closely working with functional leaders, supervisors, and field teams. My efforts resulted in the creation of several pivotal programs like the Safe Work Management Standard, Hazard Management, Work Alone, and more. A pivotal moment during my tenure was the Risk Discovery and Awareness project, which I significantly contributed to, enhancing the organization's safety culture. I provided support in integrating new ventures, such as the waterborne activity for exporting crude to the Gulf coast, and routinely offered practical solutions to improve daily HSE operations. My active participation in internal health and safety audits and leadership in strategic planning fostered positive relations with functional supervisors and ensured our goals were met promptly.Key Achievement:• Successfully refined, published, and rolled out the corporate health, safety, environment, and regulatory standards and processes, which led to a 50% reduction in corporate documents and duplication of information.

One of my significant undertakings was designing a robust monitoring system for rig HSE corrective actions, where I collaborated with frontline teams for effective resolution. I provided expert guidance on risk assessments in well-delivery operations, crafting strategies to minimize risks to acceptable thresholds. My active engagement in the initiation of well-delivery projects also involved conducting comprehensive HSE performance evaluations and site verifications. This accolade was in recognition of my exceptional support to the Emergency Response Centre during challenging situations such as the Fort McMurray wildfire and the well release incident. A significant milestone during my role was the enhancement of HSE communication among over 1300 contractors and management personnel across multiple Canadian sites. I was instrumental in introducing a novel follow-up system through ISN that successfully captured crucial insights from HSE incidents. My collaboration efforts with supervisors ensured a comprehensive understanding of our protocols at the frontline. I diligently carried out an in-depth pre-audit assessment of the CPC Ground disturbance procedure, ensuring its alignment with NEB guidelines and closely partnered with Asset groups for its subsequent review and integration.
