Following the common path of life, "go to school, get a 'good' job', and then retire", Joseph studied Computer Engineering and worked in the industry for 4 years. He quickly discovered that, for him, it was an average, ordinary, mediocre, and unfulfilled path. While engineering is a very respectable profession, he had a bigger calling, entrepreneurship. He has learned that nothing is more fun than working towards freedom and a better life with unlimited potential. This simply was not possible at a job. He began his first business at the age of 25 and immediately started to see the benefits of entrepreneurship.He began working in the financial services industry for extra income while working full time as an engineer. He soon became proficient in his field and a mentor to several business partners. Fast forward a few years, Joseph exercised his choice to leave a great salaried engineering position, for the life of a full time entrepreneur. It was one of the best decisions he has ever made for himself.Little did he know, he stepped into a fight to end financial illiteracy, to help families retire proudly. It has changed his life for the better by giving it more meaningful purpose. He enjoys helping the average person understand how money, mutual funds, index funds, and annuities could benefit, and how many have chosen to invest in those types of vehicles. Although money is not the most important thing in the world... without it, Joseph believes, rarely can a person have the lifestyle doing what is most important to them.He has felt a greater fulfillment in his life and aspires to share this feeling with others.
