As a teaching assistant I help facilitate student's learning through the lab portion of the course. For the course that I am TA'ing (EE 201: Electric Circuits) I must help students use the test equipment in lab, help students calculate the values needed to complete the lab, and help them draw the connection between the real world circuits and the circuits they study in lecture. Along with the lab work, I also help with Homework during my office hours, making sure that the students are capable of solving circuit problems.

At ETG I help students and professors with anything that has to do with course work and labs. We design PCB's and circuits to tailor the learning experience to the students with custom hardware. For professors we help support their projects/research and prepare the labs with the supplies necessary for them to hold labs. For students we also help answer general questions they have about how to complete projects, help them get the materials they need, and help them generally understand some concepts that may be helpful for their project/coursework.

I would help the preventative maintenance engineer on site with predictive and preventative maintenance on various pieces of vital machinery around the plant. This would allow the plant to run with less downtime, which in turn creates more profit for the company as a whole. I would run a thermography route, trend and collect data on all vital machinery on site, and would find techniques that were of interest in the long term maintenance of the plant.

As a dairy clerk who had been working there for several years, I was entrusted with training new dairy clerks on the specifics of the job in order to prepare them to work on their own

My role for this job was to help the manufacturing crew of Sukup complete their daily tasks in various parts of the plant. In the electrical room I got practice soldering and putting together complex peices of electrical machinery. On the manufacturing floor I got practice using various tools in order to complete orders for the client.
