My role is to ensure that the company's financial resources are used effectively and efficiently to meet its goals and objectives.Some specific responsibilities of a my role as a financial director include:Developing and implementing financial strategies: This includes creating short- and long-term financial plans, setting financial targets, and ensuring that the company meets its financial objectives.Managing financial operations: including overseeing the budgeting process, managing cash flow, and ensuring that the company's financial systems and processes are efficient and effective.Providing financial guidance: This includes providing financial advice and guidance to other members of the company and working close with the MD and senior management team.Managing risk: This includes identifying and evaluating potential financial risks to the company, and putting in place strategies to manage and mitigate these risks.Ensuring compliance: This includes ensuring that the company's financial practices comply with relevant laws and regulations, such as accounting standards and tax laws.Building relationships: This includes building relationships with stakeholders.Oversee and coordinate the preparation of financial reports and statements, making sure that financial and management reports are prepared in line with the accounting standards and all regulatory requirements.Helping to raise capital: This includes identifying potential sources of financing, such as loans or investors, and negotiating funding deals.Reviewing company's performance on regular basis, and responsible for taking corrective actions when necessary, including identifying cost-saving opportunities, implementing better financial controls, and making strategic investments.
