Preferred Visions is a consulting and training company specializing in providing "Consulting Solutions for Organizations" in the areas of public policy, school improvement, educational change, organizational improvement, and federal grant management. Services also include keynote addresses, motivational speaking, "big picture" presentations, facilitating and leading groups toward consensus building, and formulating strategic visions.

The Iowa Afterschool Alliance strives to ensure access to high-quality out-of-school time programming for all Iowa children, youth, and families through afterschool program development, support, and technical assistance.

The Iowa Community Education Association advocates and supports the capacity building of people and the process of connecting community assets with community needs through professional development and networking.

Grant management, training and technical assistance to local school districts, evaluation, monitoring, data collection, program performance reviews, community partner development, and developed linkages with key academic success and achievement inititiates at the state and national levels.

Serve on an appointed state commission by the Governor of Iowa to provide oversight and recommendations on a statewide vision for volunteerism and the development of an ethic of service throughout Iowa. Served on the Volunteer Engagement and Marketing Committees most recently.

The State Education Agency K-12 Service-Learning Network (SEANet) is a national member-directed network of professionals committed to advancing school-based service-learning initiatives in K-12 schools and school districts all across the country. Members fo SEANet promote, develop, and expand school-based service-learning to K-12 schools and school districts; they provide direct assistance in the form of technical support and professional development opportunities to local school-community partnerships; and they administer and disseminate the annual K-12 school-based state formula grants from Learn and Serve America, the primary federal funding source for service-learning.
