I taught General Reasoning as part of the Scholastic Potential Skills Test to prepare the students for the Joint Selection for State University Entrance. Had successfully organized, demonstrated, and executed good laboratory works as a respectable mentor and trustworthy assistant for Biochemistry Practicum Class. The main topics of this practicum are about isolation methods of some biological macromolecules, quantitative and qualitative methods, basic principle to use laboratory equipment, rules to make a proper report, and encourage them to know more about the reasons behind every steps during practicum.

In this role, I taught the chemistry students about how to use AAS (atomic absorption spectroscopy) and AES (atomic emission spectroscopy). Even though they all know that these instruments are very expensive if we accidentally damage them, I tried hard to support them not to be afraid to learn as long as we follow the proper steps.I also learned some basic steps for operating FTIR and UV-Vis spectroscopy.

From July to August 2022, I got a great chance to do an internship and research at the National Museum of Indonesia. This time, I tried to find out which type of glue matches the criteria that we need to glue the broken parts of Javanese shadow puppet samples, like being reversible, strong enough, keeping the aesthetic, and drying faster.I found out that hydroxypropyl cellulose (HPC) is suitable for this case.I also got a great chance to learn about the conservation of historical treasures using chemicals, the inventory of historical collection, and many more that I never learned before.
