Jo is a senior marketing & sales executive who has worked extensively in B2B Tech for more than 30 years across UK, Australia and Asia. Her experience ranges from start-ups to scaling and optimising digital and SaaS businesses. Jo has led both B2B & B2C marketing organisations; is responsible for marketing strategy, lead generation & bookings revenue. She has deep expertise in leading high-performing teams, connecting customers with the brand, and exploring ways of attracting and retaining customers whilst delivering tangible outcomes. Jo’s experience is diverse from Cloud / Saas, software, Telco and IT services businesses. Most recently Jo was the Vice President of Marketing at Pluralsight, a Technology workforce development company, helping thousands of organisations transform at scale. She joined Pluralsight pre-IPO as one of the founding employees in the APAC region and has experienced the complexities of leading a business through public and private equity ownership.Prior to that, Jo has held a variety of roles at global tech brands such as Microsoft & Cisco Systems. Notably, at Microsoft, her scope covered B2B & B2C product portfolios and her tenure was during the major transformation of Microsoft from a software business to multiple Saas business models.Jo achieved a Master’s of Coaching Psychology from the University of Sydney in 2016, the preeminent executive coaching qualification in Australia. She holds an undergraduate degree - a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology. Jo was one of the founding coaches to join the Marketing Academy in Australia and has been a part of the program for the last ten years nurturing marketing talent to the executive suite.Jo is a unique executive coach who has an amazing depth of experience working as a coach whilst holding executive positions as CMO, Marketing Director and sales leadership roles. Jo lives in Sydney and is married with four adult children. She is a passionate traveller, mountain biker, skier and ocean swimmer.
