Served as a Public Horticulture Intern for the Indianapolis Cultural Trail. I was responsible for caring for plant life on the trail. Was responsible for weeding, trimming, pruning and irrigation. I also worked with volunteers regularly and assisted with the volunteer landscape program in the evenings that was associated with the trail. I had an opportunity to experience working in an urban setting and enjoyed the both cultural, educational and horticultural component.

I assisted elementary students with studies in the summer while their parents who were district teachers prepared to return to the classroom after COVID. I was responsible for tutoring them but also for providing outdoor recreational opportunities.

I was responsible for maintenance of grounds and fields for Noblesville Schools. I mowed and weeded several fields and common areas. I operated a zero turn mower, weed eater and also manually weeded areas. I worked on a crew of 8 people and we collaborated on plans to maintain grounds, fields and athletic areas in the summer for 15 school buildings in a district of 11,000 students.
