I managed the day to day running of the office, accounts, invoice and receipts, and am in charge of training the business apprentice. My role required me to undertake sales, write up and collate reports. I have identified and implemented into the company technological advances and time saving measures, generating greater productivity.

This role taught me how to work within different community groups, understand different religions, cultures and beliefs. I regularly engaged and consulted with community stakeholders and the public to determine their views. Building up trust and overcoming barriers to encourage vulnerable people to make their homes more environmentally and economically comfortable was key. I worked with different funding schemes and when Leicestershire was granted funds to help with fuel poverty, I managed the delivery of the project, setting criteria, understand procurement, pay invoices, and managed eligibility criteria for the borough.
