CurrentAssess residents’ wellbeing by means of calls or visits. Access and discuss Statutory or Voluntary Agency information with residents. Maintain meticulous log of emergency contact, GP & NOK information. Update & present new residents with a scheme specific information pack. Interview prospective residents, to ensure the scheme’s facilities meet their needs. Upon moving in, demonstrate the alarm system, facilities & utilities & where possible, help the residents settle in, liaising with other agencies if required. Offer services to incorporate the wider community - contributing towards care planning, if required. Promote social activities and support the Residents’ Association. Encourage links for residents with the local community. Performance – contribute towards estate budget setting & monitor expenditure. Keep records of servicing, maintenance for communal areas and individual properties. Respond and take appropriate action upon the activation of the community care alarm system. Log accidents and incidents. Outside office hours, help the Community Care Provider in dealing with any critical situations. Undertake and log regular Health & Safety checks, including the alarm system and fire risk management. Co-ordinate maintenance & servicing, monitoring progress and performance of contractors. Deal with complaints in line with the Complaints Procedure. Survey and ensure the scheme is safe, clean and tidy, contacting the relevant in-house service or contractor to address any problems. Provide cover where necessary for neighbouring schemes. Attend regular team meetings and take minutes.
