About Josephine Ceasar

To obtain a rewarding and challenging position a with a progressive organization where my experience and abilities will enable me to make a strong immediate contribution with the opportunity for growth and advancement. As a Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern, I provided support to clients who are dealing with substance abuse issues. The at-risk population I had the pleasure of working with where convicted felons returning to society. As a Substance Abuse Counselor, I assessed these men with substance abuse and anger problems by teaching coping skills, developing treatment plans, leading group and individual sessions, and organizing aftercare programs. Being an effective communicator, and my ability to feel empathy for the men I counseled has given me an advantage over most Counselors. I have been effective in capturing the attention of the group, and motivating clients to think. I hold my Bachelor of Science Degree, and I am being formally trained in the art of Chemical Dependency
