• Coordinated successful campaigns (Data Protection, Intellectual Property, Digital Tax, and Cybersecurity Bill) that involved advocating the company’s business policies and issues to top government leaders, including Senators and other state leaders.• Represented the American Business Council at relevant stakeholder forums and proactively worked with lobby groups, trade associations, think tanks and other external stake holders to drive bill and policy advocacies.• Acted quickly, but tactfully to address public policy issues. This includes working collaboratively with the government affairs team of member companies, mapping out and communicating potential implications and risks, and developing necessary plans for action.• Managed the comms team of the Council to derive tailored communications strategy for each project.

• Initiated and implemented projects, conferences, and partnerships in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization. This includes the Fireside chat with AfCFTA Secretary General Wamkele Mene of AfCFTA Implementation Post Covid-19, the Cybersecurity conference, and the New US/Africa Relations with the Biden Harris team. This increased revenues by over 100% for the Council.• Managed business development support for US Companies (Uber, Becton and Dickinson, Johnson and Johnson, Microsoft, and Amazon), thereby providing public policy insights, and market entry strategies.• Key additional projects included: public affairs management; media relations and communication; and grant writing for RFPs. A one-time awardee of a USAID grant to build self-reliant Non-Governmental Organizations across West Africa.

• Conducted desk research and analyzed data from various sources and surveys to derive insights and develop position documents for advocacy. Worked with the US Government and PwC to analyze the impact of US Investments in Nigeria and has helped the Council’s efforts in engaging the Federal Government.• Worked and coordinated activities within the US/Nigeria Commercial Investment dialogue (CID) with the aim of driving investment in Agriculture, Digital Economy, and Infrastructure. The is a bilateral agreement to drive trade and investment between both countries which drove investments from the US by over 20%.• Developed talking points and presentations for the executive team and relevant partners for advocacy purposes. For example, worked with the PwC team to draft talking points for the US Ambassador to Nigeria, Ambassador Symington in his engagement with President Donald Trump.

National Population Commission (NPC) is the principal data mining commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, responsible for collecting, collating, analyzing, and publishing data about the Nigerian people (its population) and economy.• Worked efficiently with the team on the collation and analysis of data such as birth rates, childbearing ages within communities, and evaluation of child spacing by mothers.• Managed the data collation team (NYSC) and supported the coordinator for a rural area, southeast of Nigeria in improving data collation processes and resolving issues with healthcare facilities in the villages to deliver top-notch customer service.
