I'm a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate of Curtin University Malaysia. My strengths include teamwork, willingness to learn and competency in softwares such as Solidworks and Abaqus (utilized during my final year project). I continue to try and learn skills during my own time such as with VBA excel programming. With regards to teamwork, I've learned a lot regarding this during my time with Daiken Miri Sdn. Bhd as I was often tasked to work with the technicians as well as the other interns. This stint helped me utilize my communication and listening skills with the added effect of getting along with people in different roles and viewpoints. This role also gave me an invaluable opportunity to see the viewpoints of technicians who are tasked with actually making the materials that the Engineers designed.My final year project consisted of using the software Abaqus in order to test cutting tools which had entirely to be self designed taking inspirations from real cutting tools. These cutting tools differed in their dimensions and shapes and the objective was to see which provided the highest cutting force. From the final year project, I gained the ability to constantly research and scrutinize available information as well as time management due to the time constraint nature of the project.I'm open to any fresh graduate engineering or technical roles as I'm very eager to learn new skills and jump starting my career as well as to contribute to any organization that will give me this opportunity.
