Major Activities• Directs the Alternative Fuel Technology Bus Programs, including Low Emission Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Zero Emissions, High Voltage “HV” Battery Electric, and future Fuel Cell / Hydrogen technologies across the Cruiser and Transit Bus Programs. • Directs staff in the preparation of applicable maintenance activities that assist in the rollout of Zero Emission Bus Program across multiple garage locations. • Directs staff in the development and or implementation of specific MSOP’s, job aids and other communications relating to the repair process and maintenance requirements of Zero Emission buses. • Directs staff to ensure that garages operating Zero Emissions buses and charging infrastructure are made aware of all current and future published safety standards and have all the required PPE & HV Tooling outlined by NJT or other authoritative agencies such as OSHA or NFPA-70E. • Directs staff responsible for monitoring the bus telematics system & team which investigates quality issues that have been identified as new or emerging issues and works with bus OEM’s to bring about faster resolution times. • Oversees the monitoring and reporting of new bus models and or new technologies introduced across the NJ TRANSIT fleet. • Collaborates with other departments in the development of technical specifications for the procurement of new buses, new technology and or features. • Interface with bus manufacturers and supplier partners responsible for developing and implementing new technology advancements. Facilitate the integration of new technologies into the bus maintenance arena.

Technical HelpLines performance against KPIs placed it within top tier globally. Co-developer of the Global Concerns Management System which is used by technicians to report vehicle and diagnostic quality concerns as well as submit requests for technical assistance, resulting in faster and more specified assistance and more thorough escalation procedures.

Worked with retailers to identify and gather data related to specific concerns with the diagnostic tool or software. Work in conjunction with engineering teams in support the Concern Id and Fix process. Assembled and chaired a focus group of key retailers to drive improvements to the diagnostic tool. The output resulted in over 350 enhancement ideas from the North American market. Worked cross functionally with the UK diagnostics team to implement these changes which led to an increase of 65% in end user satisfaction.
