I'm a PwC Tax Partner in the Trust Solutions segment with over 35 years of experience advising on global tax matters. I provide proactive tax planning/compliance services, I advise on GAAP/IFRS accounting for income taxes, and I recently completed the INSEAD Certificate for Leading Across Cultures and Borders.I serve as the PwC Tax Acceleration Center Corporate Partner Champion, where I am actively involved in building the skills of our Acceleration Center team members. I drive additional value to our clients by helping our client service teams leverage the power of a diverse team of PwC AC professionals strategically located around the globe. At PwC, we bring the "Follow the Sun" model to life across a variety of time zones. As a PwC Tax Partner serving private companies, their owners, and high net worth individuals, I solve tax issues faced by inbound companies with US operations, portfolio companies of private equity investors, and traditional family and privately owned businesses and their owners.My global acumen benefited from a three-year PwC global mobility assignment in Russia, during which I acquired an understanding of international issues faced by global businesses and I developed the ability to collaborate and work effectively with a variety of cultures and teams. In my work in the U.S. and abroad, I have successfully resolved challenging domestic and international taxation issues faced by businesses expanding into new territories and emerging markets. I have extensive experience in managing domestic and foreign tax audits. I attended the University of Utah where I earned a BS in Accounting and a MBA. I've completed executive education programs at INSEAD, Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, and the Thunderbird School of Global Management. I am a member of the AICPA.In the community, I'm focused on building character building opportunities for Youth. In this regard, I serve on the Dan Beard Council Executive Board and I'm a nationally certified USA Swimming official.At PwC I am actively engaged in campus and experienced recruiting.
