As an experienced Senior Economic Development Advisor at the City of Salisbury, my passion lies in promoting Adelaide to the world and bringing the world to Adelaide. With close to a decade of expertise in economic development, trade and investment, and international relations, I have worked with various national, regional, and local governments, businesses, universities, and ecosystems in the UK, India, New Zealand, and now in Australia.I have successfully executed numerous projects and initiatives that have bolstered the economic growth, innovation, and competitiveness of the regions and sectors I have served. I also bring my experience of working with globally renowned organizations including GE, Goldman Sachs, and Hutchinson Whampoa to name a few in my 10-year stint in the private sector. I enjoy meeting new people, listening to their stories, and learning from their diverse perspectives and experiences. As a proud ambassador of the Scottish Business Network, a former steering committee member at Europe India Centre for Business and Industry, a UK alumnus with an MSc in Risk Management from Scotland, and a former director of the Scottish Development International in India at the British High Commission, I am always eager to explore new opportunities and challenges that can create a positive impact on communities and the world.
