Joseph Klunder has always taken a well-honed, intensive interest in reading and writing investigative reports, starting and developing non-profit organizations, conducting analytical research, and networking/socializing with people from around the world. He has started four community service projects and handed them off successfully, been published in several minor newspaper and academic articles, and been on the review for some educational committees. He is described by colleagues, as intense, creative, passionate, with zest for what he does and an almost intuitive ability to overcome obstacles to reach pro-social goals.-------When I am not teaching or writing, I'm usually traveling, taking extra college classes, or doing community service.Right now, I have a few major goals that I'm trying to pursue in parallel.a. Travel intently- that is, travel with a critical thinking approach. It's one thing to stay at a four star hotel, attend the tourist traps, and mingle with other tourists. It's another thing to stay in a local apartment, eat where the locals eat, see the sites and feel the attitudes (both positive and negative) of those you meet. That's where the real value comes in.b. Gain real world exposure for all the book knowledge I've gained- this summary should be self-explanatory. But, I spent so many years studying that I'd love to put all the education to good use.c. Get another degree, hopefully technical. I feel I've attained a sufficient liberal arts background and the benefits it offers (namely critical thinking and concise writing). Now, it's time for something more technical that hopefully has some great upwards and lateral trajectory.
