Operations Supervisor
Current• Manage team leaders and associates in Operations Department• Evaluate employee performance and coach and train to improve weak areas.• Maintain compliance with company policies, objectives and communication goals.• Mentor newly hired employees on operating equipment and safety and developed training manual to use for reference.• Establish positive and effective communication among unit staff and organization leadership, reducing miscommunications and missed deadlines.• Plan and resource personnel and logistics for operations component exercises resulting in highly trained personnel ready to act quickly in critical roles.• Transits urgent emails to appropriate logistics departments• Ensures shipment containers are accounted for before assigning to associates• Work with management team to implement proper division of responsibilities• Set overall vision and provided team leadership• Work with team to assure proper handling of any vendor issues, concerns, and goals within company
