Board Director for Bionic Power. Bionic Power makes wearable technology for charging batteries. They are focused on developing the PowerWalk® Kinetic Energy Harvester for military use and conducted multi-unit field trials with the U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps. In the future, they seek to explore walk-recharge technology being used in disaster zones and remote work sites, and by consumers in recreational, emergency preparedness and backup applications.The PowerWalk enables users to produce 10-12 watts of power as they walk. Over the course of an hour, walking at a comfortable pace, users wearing a harvester on each leg can generate enough power to charge up to four smart phones.

I joined the Chamber of Commerce to add a new voice to the discussion surrounding Austin's growth and planning with respect to jobs, mobility, affordability and opportunity for all in our city.

We built a bi-partisan coalition of voters resulting in winning our primary focused on a message of working across the aisle to focus on jobs, education, and our kids’ future. In less than 18 months, we formed a team that pioneered new techniques for fundraising, communicating with voters, tracking progress and several other innovations. - Just like a start-up, we raised over $3.1 million using best business practices resulting in the highest amount raised of any candidate in Q4,CY17 than any candidate-- Republican or Democrat, Incumbent or Challenger, out of 36 Congressional districts - We ran a campaign message focuses on bi-partisanship and problem solving that appealed to crossing the aisle to get things done. When the votes were counted, we received more votes than any candidate running as a Democrat for Congress in the history of Texas politics up until 2018.- Our race attracted so much attention locally and nationally that more people turned out to vote in our district than any other district in the state of Texas.
