In my role as a Modern Language Center Associate, I tutor Spanish students, ensure the maintenance of the Modern Language Center, and assist the other tutors in any ways I can.

In my role as a concierge at the Furman University Office of Admissions, I am charged with the duty of caring for the center of admissions, creating tour groups, dismissing tour groups, tracking the hours that each of the seventy three admission liaisons work, ensuring the accountability of liaisons, and communicating with the office's staff to ensure there are few mistakes.

In this position, I have learned how to efficiently communicate complex, specific ideas to prospective students. As an admissions Ambassador, I am tasked with giving tours to prospective students where I connect with people from across the country.

As a director of programming at Heller Service Corps, I organize on campus volunteering opportunities to help get student body engaged with volunteering. My duties include but are not limited to, caring for the Heller office, communicating with members of the executive team to execute events, coordinating with university staff to ensure the quality of events is high, and assisting in the tracking of service hours for the university.

I am thankful to have been given the opportunity to be the Heller Service Corps community coordinator with the Woodlands at Furman, a retirement community. I look forward to being able to give service to our senior citizens!

I am the first person to be elected as the Vice President of Member Education, so I am making programming to improve the status of fraternity men across campus. In this process, I am defining the chair by including programming for career development, interfraternal bonding experiences and a new member orientation program.

Manage a budget, in the tens of thousands, interacted with the campus community, and assured financial health. In this role, I have been working to ensure the financial solubility of my chapter of Beta Theta Pi, create procedures for financial management, and work with other vice presidents to improve our chapter operations.

I was the only medical assistant for two doctors. My job entailed taking vitals, taking inventory of medical supplies, and helping with membership mailing. I also decided which supplies to order and ended up doing maintenance on the computers.

I worked at patient intake, mostly screening patients and telling them where to go/what to do. I developed a decent knowledge of Spanish medical terminology, which really helped me improve my Spanish speaking skills. Through this internship, I was exposed to many people from a wide variety of backgrounds which really helped me become more aware about the people in my life and their unique experiences.
