Design projects for Meadow Brook Design begin with a collaborative effort to conceive concept designs and then rely on my advanced software skills to create computer-generated design plans. There are also opportunities to be involved in hands-on work with client relations, site measurement and plant placement. Working within a small company, I am also involved with several office responsibilities from invoicing and writing design contracts to developing a common office design standards. Since being hired with Meadow Brook Design and assisting in restructuring, my quick and effective work has led to an increase in project load and revenue.

As a member of a collaborative team, I participated in the creation of designs ranging from small scale residential yards to commercial properties and educational campuses. Design work included detailed construction drawings for site, planting, irrigation, and grading design.

My experience working for a general contractor and landscaping company taught me a wide range of skills. During the summer seasons I managed a crew that completed landscape projects including irrigation systems, sod installation, fire pits, decks, planting areas, retaining walls, walkways, and water features. A design I created was awarded Pleasant Grove’s Beautification Award.
