I have been in the industry for about 4 years now. It's been nothing short but a fantastic experience. From getting my Life and Accident & Sickness Licenses through the Alberta Insurance Council. Learning about all the products out there that will help my clients. And there is so much more to learn about in the industry. Learning how to actually listen to my clients has been the one of the best parts of my career. Knowing what their needs are, their wants; were they want to go in the future. Offering them plans that suite their budget, grow their financial independence and to make sure their families have the proper financial protection incase a loved one passes away. To help business owners provide even more value to their employees with a benefits plan that works for the whole company. Another amazing part about my business. I work for my clients. If a potential client doesn't agree to any plans and walk away. I don't get compensated from the financial businesses I work with. So its extra motivation to listen, to be genuinely interested and care for their needs.And the best part about this journey that I'm on. Is that I can give back the way I want to give back. I am a huge Humane Society believer. It's not about the donations. Every time I do get compensated, 10% will go directly to The Society, which is important. It's the volunteering that I can do, that makes my business worth doing.
