I work on a wide range of projects involving hydrologic and hydraulic analyses. They range from multi-million dollar mining projects, dams, city stormwater master plans, channel rehabilitation, and small, localized drainage problems. Majority of my time is focused on hydraulic and hydrologic modeling in a wide array of software packages (e.g. GoldSim, InfoSWMM, EPA SWM, HEC-HSM, HEC-RAS,StormCAD, ect.). I have assisted in multiple proposals, scope of work documents, and large scale study report.

Developed and incorporated spatially distributed climate scenarios from three Global Climate Models (GCMs) into a fully distributed hydrologic model (Soil Moisture Routing Model) to show how climate change trends may affect selected Idaho watersheds' hydrologic mass balance and integrated stream flow response. An interdisciplinary chapter addresses how projected climate scenario trends may affect the white water rafting industry, specifically the Middle Fork of Idaho's Salmon River. Methodolgy and preliminary results were submitted to Idaho Water Resources Research Institute in a final report. A poster was submitted and presented at the 2007 Idaho Environmental Summit in Boise, Idaho.

Performed groundwater, air and soil sampling projects for ConocoPhillips, SEMCO, CHS-PAX, and Lincoln County, Wyoming Landfills. Assisted in the installation of a trench soil vapor extraction/ in-situ air sparge (SVE/AS) remediation system. Responsible for operations and maintenance for two additional ozone injection and SVE/AS remediation systems which included compiling data, performing statistical analysis, and generating necessary reports for clients and corresponding state’s Department of Environmental Quality. Assisted in emergency spill response. Sampled water at different stages from the Evergreen Coal Refinery (clean coal) process in Gillette, WY during initial project testing phase.

Responsible for IHS hospital maintenance inventory for the summer, Assisted Biomedical Technician with regular maintenance of hospital equipment (calibrating X-Ray machines, IV pumps, and electrical stretchers), Supervised summer high school workers providing general hospital maintenance, Designed and built a storage catwalk for Department.

Sprayed noxious weed sites throughout the Frank Church Wilderness in Idaho requiring identification of plant species, handling herbicides, reading topographic maps, use of GPS, river rafting and hiking long distances to monitor old weed sites and locate new ones. Trained in and participated in forest fire suppression techniques during fire season.
