Apr 2020 - Nov 2020Atlanta, Georgia, United StatesProgram manager for the COVID19 Health Security Screening Program running at the CDC, with sites Atlanta, Morgantown, Pittsburgh, and Fort Collins, and SBA, with sites in Fort Worth and DC. In addition, I manage a tele-health program through the CDC's Occupation Health Clinic.Enhanced Symptom and Temperature Screening:Develop and implement standard operating procedures across 9 sites throughout the United States and two USG agencies. I train and develop training materials for all screeners deployed, which includes proper PPE use, practical communication skills, essential protocols and questions, and effective reporting techniques. I directly manage 36 screeners across these sites, which includes their schedules, training, morale, and development. I have developed active structures to delegate authority where necessary and to monitor inventory at the non-Atlanta sites. As an element of effective program management, I developed inventory management systems and protocols, including templated measures, to quickly launch a new screening station to improve scalability and consistency. Tele-Health Program:My role is to manage a virtual team that aids the CDC’s Occupational Health Clinic and its staff who are currently deployed. In this role, I supervise 10 clinicians and 15 PHAs as they support the Deployment Assistance and Monitoring (DAM) team and the surge staff that is associated with them. Contract and Relationship Management:I am the primary point of contact for the SMEs, administrative officers, agency program managers, and the various CORs for each contract I am associated with and develop relationships with each to ensure that exceptional service is provided. To do this, I have some experience reviewing and understanding federal contracts, from unauthorized work to task orders, to ensure that Caduceus remains in complete compliance while also ensure that the services provided are adequate and fit the needs of the on-site team. -
Public Health Advisor (Supervisor)Caduceus Healthcare Inc. Apr 2020 - May 2020Atlanta, Georgia, United StatesLead the deployment of Public Health Advisors and LMPs at the Roybal campus of CDC to screen employees unable to telework. Based on a criterion of symptoms, travel, and measured temperature, my team and I seek to ensure that high-risk or sick individuals are prevented from entering the premises and thus keep the rest of the staff safe and secure.Developed training documentation to get this new team up to speed quickly to increase effectiveness in preventing the spread of COVID19 among those needing to report into work. Additionally, I developed a reporting system to track the scope of the work my team does while also allowing management to understand and adjust human resources as necessary. With personal protective equipment (PPE) currently in short supply, I implemented a system to track inventory to ensure that we are efficient, and safe, with our PPE use throughout this process. -
Public Health AdvisorCaduceus Healthcare Inc. Feb 2020 - Apr 2020San Francisco Bay AreaContractor with Center for Disease Control's (CDC) Division of Global Migration and Quarantine (DGMQ) on the COVID-19 Response at the San Francisco Airport (SFO) Quarantine Station. In this role, I screened passengers for visible symptoms, performed temperature checks, collected contact & symptom information, and dispensed information regarding CDC guidelines for care. Afterwards, I entered collected data into the Secure Access Management Systems (SAMS) to build database for local health departments to follow up or perform contact tracing. Through all of this, I work to ensure that there are proper procedures in place to improve adherence to PPE standards to help maintain the safety of myself and colleagues. In March, I was selected to be one of the four Team Leads for the SFO response. As Team Lead, I am charged with scheduling and managing personnel each day to ensure that the needs of the station are met and appropriately staffed. Due to the deployment schedules and everchanging surge staff, my team and I wrote standard-operating-procedures and best practices for each of the daily tasks that we are expected to complete that can also serve as a guide for future deployments once our contract is over. In order to better conserve, while maintain high levels of safety, I worked closely with the Logistics Lead to craft processes and procedures for proper inventorying for this Q-Station. Finally, working with my site coordinator, I developed an organizational structure that seeks to bring stability during an unpredictable time such as an ever-evolving pandemic. Pulling from the ICS framework, I looked to provide opportunities for my colleagues to excel as subject matter experts and take ownership of various parts of the response in order to create a stronger, more unified command. -

Senior Media SpecialistLook-Listen Apr 2015 - Mar 2016Atlanta, GeorgiaI maintained, analyzed, reported, and continually improved the digital media campaign of the KoolSmiles brand. KoolSmiles is a national dental brand operating 123 locations in 57 markets across the United States. Marketing in the health care industry provides a unique set of challenges to overcome. I researched industry and digital media trends to provide optimizations and recommend these to the client. In addition, I forecasted monthly spend by channel and market for paid search, directories, and an agency partner. My role on the team led to me to take ownership of their paid search campaign with a $1.5 million yearly spend. There were 360 active campaigns in Google and Bing, which requires an attention to detail when changes are needed. Since budgets change monthly, I was confronted with a time consuming process to calculate and implement the new daily spending caps, so I created a processor that improves the process saving both time and increasing accuracy. In addition to to the Paid Search Campaign, I worked with these other elements of their digital media strategy: 1) Work with the directory and display vendors to ensure performance;2) Improve tracking through URL optimizations and effective call-tracking campaigns;3) Continually work with in-house Dev team to improve landing pages so that UX and Adwords Quality Score increases -
