I lead a group of students to discuss and promote governmental issues relating to our campus and beyond. As a nonpartisan committee, we act as political liaison for the student population. Our committee plan and execute events geared towards legislative issues and governance.

In my role as a Student Assistant for the Graduate and International Recruitment Office at Central Michigan University, I perform some of the following duties:-Answering phone calls at the front desk-Responding to perspective student emails-Attending to in-person visits at the front desk-Offer training to new student assistant recruits

I served on an Adhoc International Student Health Insurance Committee that was set-up by the Provost to review current insurance plan for the International Student population and offer recommendations as a committee for the next academic year. Some of my duties include:-Attending weekly committee meetings-Researching topics around insurance to be informed for dialogue-Advocate on behalf of the International Student population-In general, bring a student focused perspective on the issue

Jomana Limited is a conglomerate business in Sierra Leone of produce, provision, food, retail, and general merchandise trading that also operates amongst few others, in the farming or agriculture industry. In my position as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jomana, I perform various responsibilities that include but not limited to the following:1) Overseeing the entire operations of the business to drive growth; while developing and implementing business plans, monitoring its efficacy and progress.2) Leading the development and implementation of the strategies for the business both short and long term. and align the teams to move in the same strategic direction to achieve set business goals.3) Scouting for possible expansion opportunities and industry specific developments for the business, while ensuring that revenue and or sales targets are met.4) Lead and motivate subordinates, encourage employee engagement, manage resources, including the attraction, hiring, and retention of personnel, and train high performing managerial team.5) Serving as the public face for the company, and enforcing adherence to legal guidelines to maintain good moral and legal status of the company.6) When necessary, seek advice and guidance from the Board of Directors to further the success and or growth of the business.

We promote quality education through the awarding of scholarships and mentorship programs, source out and support talents for innovation, and work with individuals and or communities to promote entrepreneurship as well as encourage resource maximization through the provision of funding and or professional guidance. With all these, I'm tasked with overseeing the work we do and ensuring the foundation carry out its day-to-day function to the best of the abilities of everyone involved. Service is a passion of mine, and I'm incredibly thankful for this opportunity to be of service to my people.
