As a nonprofit organization, NYBCe—along with its partner organizations, including Community Blood Center of Kansas City (CBC), Innovative Blood Resources (IBR), Blood Bank of Delmarva (BBD), and Rhode Island Blood Center (RIBC)—collects approximately 4,000 units of blood products daily, serving the needs of over 45 million people across local communities.My Role at NYBC:As a strategic human resources leader, I oversee the design, implementation, and communication of NYBC's Talent Acquisition and Compensation processes in a Shared Services Model. My responsibilities include:Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements for talent acquisition and compensation.Leading and managing organization-wide talent acquisition and compensation strategy and processes within a shared services model.Advising NYBCe leadership on organizational redesign, encompassing titling, succession planning, reporting structures, and departmental organizational charts.

Worked as a key and strategic member of the HR leadership team in developing Human Resources strategies for NYBCe that are aligned and support the business strategy of saving lives, through leading, developing, and administering a comprehensive operational portfolio of HR programs and services to approximately 2,300 employees in New York City area, St. Paul, Minnesota, Newark, Delaware, Kansas City, Missouri and Providence, Rhode Island.♦Led the planning, implementation, and consolidation of the time and leave processes, alongside the implementation of Kronos Workforce Dimensions system for the entire Enterprise in January 2021.♦Led the planning, centralization and creation of Center of Excellence for the Compensation area by developing compensation structures for all 5 divisions and consolidated over 750 job titles across the divisions to 350 job titles in August 2022.♦Created new hire 30/60/90-day survey, along with exit survey in Workday to leverage the system for HR metrics.♦Inherited the Talent Acquisition team in 2021 for the entire Enterprise and recruited for over 300 jobs in the New York City, Westchester and Long Island area during COVID-19 pandemic. ♦Consolidated Affirmative Action and EEO reporting for all divisions into one report in January 2021.♦Led the recruitment effort in 2022 for the newly created NYBC Ventures division which helps accelerate innovation blood-related fields and cellular therapies and technology. ♦Served as one of the project leads to revamp new hire orientation, from 2 days to 1 day in NY as a pilot for the Enterprise for a successful launch of the program in July 2023.♦Spearheaded implementation of SkillSurvey with iCIMS for an October 2023 launch. ♦Evaluated current organizational process flows and executed process improvement initiatives to optimizeefficiencies and implement sustainable HR structures.♦Lead advisor for all internal and external compliance audits (Quality, Internal Audit, I-9, EEO).
