I use virtual analysis tools such as Mathworks Simulink and Siemens AMESim to validate the virtual design of large agricultural tractors. I work closely with Design and Test Engineers to generate virtual models of the dynamic systems on current and future tractors. My work helps increase design efficiency, provide increased tractor performance, and reduce costs associated with iterative prototyping.

Work with cross-functional teams to research, design, and develop the front axle module for next generation tractors. Develop 3D models and engineering drawings for complex castings, gears, drive shafts and bearings. Design and analyze the kinematics and hydraulic controls for tractor steering system. Work with internal and external suppliers to develop and pursue cost reduction activities.

• Utilize the V2Net system to process activities for test execution, including updating details (schedule, acceptance criteria, procedures, results, conclusions) and closure of activities and communication to stakeholders on key dates and resource availability• Coordinate tractor, component, and test cell resources, clarify acceptance criteria and test requirements, conduct planning meetings, organize testrequests, write shop orders, and provide wage employee work direction.• Conduct regular data review meetings with stakeholders during test execution• Determine test needs and if results meet or fail acceptance criteria, issuing EETS/NCCA events when criteria are not met• Utilize Vivid tool for understanding test cell resource availability• Post process test data to analyze and summarize results into reports for review and inclusion in V2Net activities, utilizing tools and templatesstandard within the team

Using CAD software such as Autocad and Revit I design and draft the mechanical and plumbing systems in buildings. Building types range from churches to resaurants to large scale retail to apartments. Using heat load calculators I determine the thermal load on the building due to equipment and people. This is then used in conjunction with various other tools to determine the size and location of ducting, and heating/cooling units needed for the building. All of the work is governed by international code and then reviewed by professional engineers before being submitted.

Responsible for aiding professional engineers in modeling, analyzing designs for strength, durability and functionality, and design. Using Solidworks, Revit, AutoCAD, and working closely with professional engineers to ensure that designs of various oil and gas drilling and safety tools would perform according to design intent. Other tasks included designing and creating drawings for the layout of HVAC and plumbing for approximately 7 commercial, religious, and residential buildings. Aided in the design and analysis of at least 75 products such as API 650 Tanks, mountain bike accessories, Motorcycle trailers, Vacuum trucks, oil drilling tools, etc.
