Tech Medic provides on site services for High Tech headaches. Services include system sales, service and installation for home and small business owners, Mac or PC it doesn't matter.

My position at Mercy Hospital involves perofrming EKG's on patients. Transporting patients to and from test's in the hospital. Assisting with medical procedures. And dressing wounds, and splinting as directed by a doctor.

Provide On-Site support for Macintosh systems. System reloads, and training.

Provide Second Level telephone support for all aspects of deskside support. Also, act as the helpdesk to deskside liason, answering all questions for the deskside technicians, as well as contacting the technicians when an enduser calls for status reports.Also provide a dispatching function for the deskside technicians

As the sole computer technician for a district of 5 schools, and 3 office complexes, I was a very busy person. I supported over 300 IBM PC's with operating systems ranging from Win 95 to Win XP, the District MS Exchange Server, the STI School management software, the educational and file/print servers, and oversee the implimintation of the districts Active Directory, I had to automate most of the routine jobs. The majority of my time was spent working in each school on the upkeep of the systems, and the daily administration of 14 servers in a WAN, Microsoft Exchange Administration (5.5 and 2000), and the Administration of the Active Directory Forest.

As the Computer Technician, I was responsible for the daily support of the digital imaging systems (Mac format) as well as the PC Based Work flow management system. Both duties caused me to become familiar with the printing process and to repair, upgrade, and install both Mac's and PC's to the network. To simplify this process, I designed and installed an Active Directory structure for the management of users and accounts.As the head of Web Hosting Services, I was responsible for the maintenance, and the guaranteed uptime of 3 web servers, a web design team of 2 to 3 graphic artists, Customer phone support of web based application (E-Mail, FTP, Storefront), ASP Programming, Database management, and sales. During my time here, I also oversaw the transition from "Off-Site" hosting of the web pages to hosting in the data center located in the Progress Printing campus. During this, I also used Active Directory for the easy of management of 1200 user accounts on the web based side.

Performed on site repair, and service of printers, and computers. Another aspect of this position was basic Networking and Networking assistance.

While with Micro Center, my duties were basic computer upgrade, troubleshooting, and repair. I was also a help desk technician; providing end user technician support.
