Responsible for all refurbishments, both internal and external. Activities include, but are not exclusive to, stripping and inspecting worn pumping systems, producing 'strip and inspect' reports and rebuilding to a serviceable condition. Other activities include time keeping, scheduling of workshop activities and traceability.

Responsible for ensuring that all plant and machinery are in a serviceable and safe condition in order to reduce site down time / costs. Activities include performing P.P.Ms (Pre-Planned Maintenance) on various types of pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems, inspecting guarding / other safety systems then repairing as required and communicating with other on site to ensure a smooth running plant and most importantly, a safe plant. As well as planned maintenance, reactive maintenance was also performed when necessary.
