Program Manager
Current•Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate the Social Services Agency activities of CalWORKs Case Management department and Family Stabilization program that include staff of various job classifications and bargaining unit associations.•Assist in formation of administrative policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems for Agency and County Programs including California Statewide Automated Welfare System (CalSAWS), California Outcomes and Accountability Review State Audit (CalOAR), CalWORKs 2.0 and the Online CalWORKs Appraisal Tool (OCAT).•Initiate and evaluate recommendations on goals, policies, plans, projects, programs, and outcomes to meet community needs as a Lead of the California Outcomes and Accountability Review State Audit (CalOAR); a 5-year cycle review that includes a County Self-Assessment, County Self-Improvement Plan, and State Progress Report.•Provide feedback to state and federal authorities on development of legislation or regulations and collaborate with representatives to ensure accurate interpretation.•Assess delivery of current and future program services to ensure client success.•Coordinate automation of program processes and Agency support for clients and staff.•Provide case consultations for individuals, families, and new programs, to direct, mentor, and guide successful client services.•Recruit, interview, hire, train, evaluate, mentor, and discipline supervisors and line staff.•Provide technical resources to subordinates and technical staff to ensure successful performance of their jobs.•Develop and monitor contract administration between agencies and community-based organizations including CalWORKs Domestic Violence Program (YWCA), Mental and Behavioral Health Program (CalWORKs Community Health Alliance Services), and CalWORKs Education Program (Community College and Adult Education).
