 Monitor faculty and unit expenses ensuring expenditure control and compliance Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, cash flow and operational performance reports for circulation to senior management and members of BOD and University Council Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing and reporting Prepare budgets and forecast files. Liquidity planning through forecasting short- and medium-term liquidity needs Work closely with the operations departments and Faculty Teams in analyzing margins, variances and cost analysis Prepare faculty and other project costs, cost tracking, monitoring and reporting Maintain an updated fixed assets ledger Provide analytical support to further objectives such as cost control, tax efficiency and compliance Implementing and ensuring the ongoing smooth operations of the Institution’s Management Information Systems Issue project cost reports for review and approval.  Assist in ensuring the integrity of data in the institution’s various databases Assist in compiling and verifying data during annual audits Provide support to members of the Accounting team by developing and implementing processes to enhance student account reconciliations and monitoring

• Leading and coordinating Audit engagement teams• Planning the audit including driving meetings, understanding the entity, assessing risks of material misstatement and their responses and other planning activities.• Performing tests of controls for different aspects of the business and comprehensive documentation of client systems.• Performing substantive tests for various financial statement lines of clients from a wide range of industries.• Reviewing clients’ financial statements for compliance with applicable laws and regulations, International Financial Reporting Standards, or donor specific reporting and reporting on compliance with donor agreements and on the integrity of the internal control structure policy and procedures;• Preparing the Management Letter and recommending improvements at the conclusion of each audit assignment and discussing the same with client management among others.• Preparing financial statements in compliance with the applicable financial reporting framework.

 General Ledger Management  Preparation and Maintenance of Monthly Audit Schedules  Supervision of the Cash and Bank Reconciliations  Daily Petty cash reviews as well performing weekly and spot cash counts  Ensuring all statutory contributions are correctly calculated and remitted to relevant authorities  Ensuring all Fixed Assets are properly documented and accounted for and Recorded in the FAR.  Ensuring all Company’s Insurance Services rendered are Paid for accurately according the Invoices Issued.  Ensuring that stock issues are properly documented and accounted for as well as carrying out Monthly stock counts and reconciling invoices to stock issues  Preparation of Annual Budgets as well as carrying out monthly analysis of actuals against budgeted expenses  Ensuring that the Group Insurance expenses are properly allocated and Accounted for as well monitoring expiry of policies  Initiate internal control measures that need to be put in place for accuracy and prevention of frauds and errors.  Verifying all cheque and on-line payments before approval by the Financial Controlled  Carrying out Monthly Payroll Audits and reconciling Guards’ shifts to the Invoicing system  Coordination with both internal and External Auditors
