• Manage and implement contracts to support required service levels, quality requirements, inventory levels, and cost objectives on raw materials, components, services, and new equipment purchases.• Serves as process owner of the QualityManagement System core process "Purchasing".• Maintain measurement tools and criteria to evaluate supplier performance.• Support methods and procedures evaluate alternate sources of supply.• Maintains inventory of raw materials and components at an acceptable level to maintain the service level required for JIT manufacturing. Assist technicians by looking up parts needed for vehicle repairs. Answering phone calls and assisting wholesale and walk up customers with their part needs. Tracking all incoming and outgoing parts for the dealership. Locating available parts when the dealership is out of stock. Manage bulk oil inventory.

Materials Supervisor – manage the activities of the production floor, under the direction of the Lead Supervisor or Operations Manager and follow established procedures and approved processes. Supervise all production operations such as machining, processing and assembly. Coordinate departmental activities to fulfill sales orders, meet inventory requirements, and deliver manufactured products in a timely manner. Supervise all shop floor operators on their respective shift. Responsible for general safety. Develop a safety mindset by example, instill that in all operators, and ensure all safety guidelines are followed consistently. Develop and support a 5-S mindset in all plant areas. Do constructive employee counseling when necessary. Ensure that operators have accurately completed the production paperwork including sell-outs. Monitor production throughout the shift for problems and production levels. Ensure that employee reviews are completed on time for both temporary workers and Dana employees job knowledge, skills and abilities. Will have thorough knowledge of all manufacturing methods, techniques and related equipment. Must be familiar with production construction and application. Must have complete knowledge of production scheduling and shop operations.

Materials Team Leader for Supply Chain - Oversees activities related to the purchase of material, material control, inventory control, shipping/receiving and stores functions. Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures and material control systems. Ensures materials are ordered and in stock to meet company requirements, while maintaining acceptable inventory levels. Develops material schedules and coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering. Reviews and plans requirements for purchasing materials. May prepare material requirement plans using enterprise resource planning systems. May assist with the establishment and maintenance of the production control system. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
