Expert in international trade, technology transfer and offset, technology and other intellectual property valuation and related forensic services, and the structuring, preparation and negotiation of agreements necessary for full commercialization of innovations and other pre-existing intellectual property e.g., for technology start-ups. Commercial Innovation provides advisory, valuation, negotiation and transaction services, including the development of structured financing alternatives, for early stage innovation, co-production, joint venture and other collaborative licensing and product distribution transactions as well as forensic services to establish true market value of intellectual property assets.

Responsible for helping Danaher businesses develop technology sourcing strategies and execute Open Innovation transactions. This includes advising on sourcing, structuring, valuing and negotiating transactions such as licenses, partnerships and joint ventures. Additionally, support the Business Development, Legal and Engineering teams in Danaher's operating businesses to drive best practices around our Open Innovation activities.

Retired from General Electric Company (GE) after 33 years of progressive service in technical marketing and licensing leadership positions. Completed GE's Technical Marketing Program in 1976 and progressed through a variety of operating business and management roles involving application and systems engineering, sales, licensing and marketing for power systems, telecommunication, aerospace, and industrial technologies. International assignments focused on Latin America, Europe, Japan and China. Joined GE’s International Licensing Department in 1982 as a licensing Negotiator and progressed to Managing Director, Trade & Technology Services prior to above titled position. Directed GE operating businesses in the origination, development and execution of their worldwide technology joint development and transfer, patent and trademark licensing & other intellectual property transactions. Accumulated substantial joint venture experiences relating to technology collaboration in emerging economies like Indonesia, India, China, and Brazil.
