Wildlife is best viewed outside a window, not inside your home. It is normal to feel distressed when hearing scratching in the walls, thumping in the attic, or digging in their yard.People call on me for help resolving nuisance wildlife problems. I wear many hats. I play the role of detective to survey and determine what got in and how. I act as sage to field questions about the biological and epidemiological considerations of the intruding wildlife. I also am the whisperer to calmly hand-retrieve or deftly draw the animal into a trap. I thoroughly enjoy all of these facets as I see the relief in others' faces knowing they have their home and yard back. Each situation is different. Each setting is unique. My business addresses almost all forms of nuisance wildlife found in Iowa, including raccoon, squirrels, moles, mice, bats, birds, groundhogs, opossums, skunks, snakes, beavers, muskrats, foxes, chipmunks, and voles. My background in biology and education aligns well with my work. I enjoy the sleuthing work of identifying and tracking wildlife, educating my customer about the relevant wildlife biology and ecology, humanely removing the offender(s), and developing a solution to keep that area permanently excluded from future wildlife.
