I initially envisioned creating an app for jaded teachers since I was hearing the negative side of teaching occasionally. Listening to different teacher pain points, I wanted to created an app that would not only help with organization but also provide a place for teachers to vent (hence the voice memos feature). After hearing one of the teachers voice a desire for a hassle-free way to keep track of behavior reports for their students, I spent the next couple of days creating the Reports page which allows a user to create a behavior report. Each report is saved to the database in the backend (displaying the reports in a table format to the user on the front-end).Last but not least, the Tasks page is a task list including a button that randomly selects a task. I describe this to users as a fun way to randomly decide which task to start on (hoping that you get the easiest one first).I had a lot of fun working on Barely Teaching, and I look forward to adding more useful and humorous features for teachers to enjoy.
