The following were my significant achievements for this position. ▪ Software Developer in the Development team that integrated SMART Software's Oracle 11g R2 database back-end with Kenya Electricity Generating Company's SAP ECC 6.0 ERP Medicare module.My main role was developing Python modules for migrating data from SMART Software's Oracle processing servers to Kenya Electricity Generating Company's SAP staging Oracle Server and vice versa for Data Transfer from Kenya Electricity Generating Company's Server to SMART.▪ Developed a Web based Customer Relationship Management ( CRM ) Software in ASP.NET and MSSQL, a self initiative to add value to the company’s support team in executing their tasks and monitoring nature of support calls as well as generating printable reports from the same for analysis of disparate logged support calls for action points to be taken.▪ Software Developer in the team that Developed and Implemented a PHP/MSSQL/MySQL Employee Record Management System for City Council of Nairobi.▪ Installed, Configured and Prepared Oracle 11gR2 on Ubuntu 10.10 platforms in readiness for Server Deployments.▪ Developed a PHP,MySQL & Oracle Reporting tool for doing compliance comparison Reports for Invoices captured & not captured in Care2000 Hospital System [Oracle] and SMARTLINK billing software [MySQL] for Aga Khan University Hospital Nairobi.The 2 systems are integrated.▪ Developed Python scripts for automating Migration of Client Data from MySQL Database to a central processing MSSQL database server.The data is captured by the Hospital Management Information Systems at the Hospitals onto a MySQL database then moved to a processing server on MSSQL 2008 through dedicated network connection links.▪ Developed python scripts for automating transfer of refund invoices of electronic medical bills data from Aga Khan University Hospital's internal billing Oracle servers to SMART processing servers via dedicated network links

My Responsibilities, Tasks and Significant Achievements for this position were; ▪ Introduced virtualization to the company’s Linux Servers which subsequently reduced Costs of acquiring more Physical Servers & Hardware.▪ Researched, Sourced and Deployed Secure & Stable Open Source Software.Support, Administration and Maintenance of the Company’s VOIP Telephony Infrastructure, an Asterisk / Elastix IP based Linux Software PBX. ▪ Supported and Maintained our Uganda Sister Company's VOIP based Telephony Solution. ▪ Configured a Dedicated Network link on site at Mater Hospital, our client, for relaying realtime Data between our Company and Mater Hospital where Transactional data could now be immediately conveyed to our Company's servers & our Client Servers in real-time basis. ▪ Configured a Dedicated Network link on site at Gertrude's Muthaiga Children’s Hospital where I negotiated with Gertrude’s IT, an interconnection route for Gertrude's satellite clinics to connect back to our Company’s servers via the main Gertrude's Main Hospital’s network thus managing to have Gertrude's Satellite Clinics relay real-time Data back to our Company as well as our Clients and thus immensely cutting down on GPRS costs for Modems installed at everyone of the Satellite Clinics. ▪ Integrated Vox Technology’s radio Wimax into our Company’s CISCO 1841 router & configured a VLAN to facilitate a network communication between the two Networks in the roll-out of our client, Kenindia Insurance’s Dedicated Network link to our Company. ▪ Researched on Network Monitoring Tools and finally installed, documented and provided our Company with Pandora Network Monitoring Tool for monitoring our Company's dedicated links including KDN,Safaricom Wimax and Safaricom GPRS networks. ▪ Installed, Configured & Deployed offsite Disaster Recovery Server & offsite Colocation Server. ▪ Configured Safaricom, Airtel GPRS Modems & Hongdian Routers for Deployment to Remote Sites.

My Tasks and Duties for this Position entailed the following; ▪ Nationwide Automated Medical Scheme Administration using Biometrically controlled Smart Cards solution. ▪ Coordination and Implementation of Rollout of the Biometric Medismart system.▪ User Support and Training. ▪ GPRS Network Installation and Monitoring. ▪ Configuring, Troubleshooting and Deployment of Hongdian GPRS Routers. ▪ Installation, Setting up and Support of Linux Server Systems in our areas of presence within Kenya. ▪ ICT Hardware and Software Repair, Maintenance and Upgrades/Support.
