Joe Nader is a Managing Director and Head of Wealth Management for City National Bank in Miami, Florida. Joe is a member of City National Bank's Executive team as well as the Asset/Liability Management and Enterprise Risk Committees. He also Chairs the Bank's Trust Investment Committee and the RNDIP Committee. In his role as Head of Wealth Management Joe is directly responsible for the Bank's Trust, Advisory and Asset Management divisions and works closely with a select group of the Bank's clients.Joe has extensive experience in private wealth management working with both US as well as international clients. With 30 years of experience and fluency in Spanish, he has served high net worth individuals, families and institutions at internationally known private banks, as the Chief Investment Officer of a large family office for one of Miami’s most prominent families as well as the Chief Investment Officer of the largest privately held Trust Company in the State of Florida. Prior to joining City National Bank, Joe was a Managing Director/ Southeast United States with Citi Private Bank and prior to that he was the National Head of Calamos Wealth Management, the Registered Investment Advisory arm of Calamos Investments, a global leader in liquid alternative asset management. Joe was responsible for leading and managing all of the firm's Advisors and Advisory teams throughout the Southeast, Midwest and Northeast Divisions as well as the investment platform. In addition to his role at City National Bank, Joe is very active and engaged in the community. He is currently the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Nicklaus Children's Health System (the governing board that overseas the Hospital and the Foundation). He has served as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors as well as Chair of the System's Finance and Investment Committees. He has been involved with the hospital for over a decade in positions of increasing responsibility, governance and leadership.He has written numerous articles on subjects related to Wealth Management, Investments and Trust and Estate Planning. He is also a frequent speaker and panelist and has appeared on all forms of media in both English and Spanish. Additionally, he has served as an Adjunct Professor with Florida International University where he taught a course on Investments for the International MBA program.
