Co-ordinate the appropriate support group(s) required to resolve Critical Incidents, breaches of Service Level Agreements. Using the tools provided, monitored the mainframe master consoles, and following all documented processes and procedures to ensure the timely completion of all daily/weekly activities including system backups and IPL’s.

Main Duty:Supervise 6 direct reports in the day to day activities of the Operations Centre.Achievements:Streamlined the compiling of required documentation for both Internal and External Audit compliancy, resulting in significant time and cost savings.Assisted in the creation of a documentation library of all Operations Centre processes and procedures, standardizing the format, thereby simplifying maintenance.Created and maintained shift schedules (8hr and 12hr, various rotations), vacation allocations and Daily/Weekend Operations Activity Checklists for direct reports.

Main Duty:Using the tools provided, monitored the mainframe and network master consoles, and following all documented processes and procedures to ensure the timely completion of all daily/weekly activities including system backups and IPL’s.Achievements:Assisted in the conversion of the mainframe operating system from VM to MVS.Assisted in the reorganization of the Operators work schedule to rotating shifts.
