Core to our growth strategy was designing an elegant, component based product architecture where program elements could be mixed and matched quickly in support of unique customer program goals.- Led a team of designers & developers building employee recognition and incentives platform for HR as well as direct sales and channel sales incentive programs.- Rebuilt team of developers, recruiting over half of current team in less than 4 months in competitive NYC talent market.- Transitioned technology from legacy ColdFusion platform to modern tech stack and successfully launched new product platform to 50 enterprise customers in its first 2 years.- Balanced priorities amongst a wide spectrum of stakeholders - multiple product lines, customer industries, sales team and reseller relationships.- Wrote user stories, guide designers and developers on implementation, hold standups, planning sessions, demos.- Tracked deliverables, priorities, business drivers, and time allocation in JIRA, report on KPIs to executive team and board.- Learned a ton about data- and market-driven decision making, working with a winning sales organization, and an all-star executive leadership team.- Customers included: Samsung, Staples, Sprint, Andersen Windows, Johnson Controls, British Aerospace Engineering (BAE), SungardAS, Cleveland Clinic.- Reported to CEO.

- Led a team of 21 (6 UI Developers, 6 Server Side, 1 DBA Architect, 1 DevOps reporting directly to me; team of 6 QA and QA manager with dotted line) building next generation candidate experience and social recruiting engine for Taleo Recruiting platform (Taleo Social Sourcing).- Successfully led the SelectMinds development organization through the transition to Oracle. Only lost 2 team members (to successful NYC startups) during 2 year tenure at Oracle.- Managed i18n, build delivery, and API integration projects, as well as new feature development, enabling product to move from a deployment within a single data center to 5 data centers worldwide, and grow from a customer base of 30 to 150.- Wrote user stories, led sprint planning sessions, gave product demos and roadmap presentations to customers.- Support sales organization as functional and technical SME, participate on sales calls.- Led enablement of 12 members of Oracle Consulting division technical staff to scale delivery & deployment of Social Sourcing to NA, EMEA, LAD, APAC regions.- Customers include: Boeing, Visa, Intel, Yahoo, IBM, Fly Dubai, eBay, Gap Inc., Dell Computer.- Reported to VP Product Development for Taleo Talent Acquisition Suite of products.

SelectMinds, founded 1999, was a pioneer in building online communities for corporate alumni to stay in touch with their former employer and former colleagues, engage in business development opportunities, and apply to exclusive positions. We built secure, private, white-labeled social networks for the world's leading firms in investment banking, professional services, accounting, software, and law.Remember 2008? That wasn't a great time for our Alumni customers. Sorry Lehman. We pivoted and built a social recruiting product, enabling large corporations to incentivize their employees to make high quality, vetted referrals by tapping into their social and professional networks. Our consumer-friendly UI, integration with Taleo, and early customer successes led to an acquisition by Oracle.- Oracle acquired us in Fall 2012 (Legal Entity Combination 1/1/2013).- I was deeply involved in the sale of SelectMinds to Oracle: initial pitch meetings, due diligence and license remediation process.- Leveraged codebase from Alumni product to bring completely new product to market (TalentVine) with a team of four developers in 6 months (2010).- Worked closely with VP Product Management and UX/Design team on UX/Functional/Technical design of new features.- Architected multi-tenant architecture for TalentVine product, improving application server customer density by 2x and overall upgrade time by 5x.- Primary security point of contact for all customer inquiries.- Integrated with OAuth, Graph, and XML APIs for Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter.- Identified, selected, and managed the integration of various third-party vendors to improve application performance and time-to-deploy.- Notable customer engagements: Google, IBM, Rackspace, eBay, Yahoo, Sage, ADP, T-Mobile, PwC, Ernst & Young, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, Dow Jones, Federal Reserve Bank, McGraw-Hill, Aon Hewitt, Freshfields, Cooley, White & Case, WSGR.- Reported to CEO.
