• Eglinton Crosstown West Extension: As part of Arup’s Technical Advisor (TA) scope of work for the 9 km light rail transit (LRT) project with 6 km of tunnel and 3 km of elevated guideway, interpreted piling logs, 3D modelled ground conditions in Leapfrog to inform baselining of geotechnical parameters for future station design, and observed SPT sampling and rock coring for guideway piers during site visits• Supported colleagues in the performance of helical pile and strip footing design, contract review, ground profile and database creation, report writing and editing, and grant applications• Presented to the Americas summer intern cohort in a group of five interns based out of different offices, collaborating to effectively present on individual achievements and a hypothetical infrastructure project addressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals

• Collaborated in teams and worked individually to create designs for and support the design management of 9 utility-scale 100 MW+ solar projects across the US, Canada, and Australia• Automated significant parts of the internal takeoff process for 30% designs with VBA Excel spreadsheets, greatly reducing required labour and hours for each project• Performed on-site inspection with the QA/QC team as part of the warranty process, also creating from scratch an Operating Procedure (OP) to transfer solar project designs to a new format• Trained new full-time transfer to the design department, focusing on AutoCAD, Excel and department-specific design methodologies and methods

• Created a load effect analysis to help develop a CSA guideline on pedestrian, cycling, and multiuse bridge design, allowing colleagues to quickly check the impact of loading conditions• Reviewed bridge construction drawings to assess specific maintenance requirements, improving competence in quickly reading complex drawings• Calculated factors of safety and internal stresses for a non-destructive gripper protype for on-site pull testing of GFRP bars, improving static analysis competency

• Rewrote navigation instrument and GPS code of a MATLAB helicopter simulation in C++, decreasing simulation runtime significantly, developing competence in both languages• Developed C++ API for ROS2 to facilitate integration of ROS2 code into existing projects• Independently planned and structured programs to meet objectives, improving project planning and organisation skills

• Lead online classes of up to 12 elementary students with a focus on fostering technical skills, a growth mindset, and thoughtful discussion of STEM topics

• Trained colleagues in teaching and engaging with students online through Zoom, helping them better adapt more quickly to a new educational environment• Developed and revised virtual STEM lesson plans for summer and year-round programs including Bluetooth RC cars, robotic servo arms, and Arduino LCD game consoles• Lead online classes of up to 12 elementary students with a focus on fostering technical skills, a growth mindset, and thoughtful discussion of STEM topics
