At Trane Technologies, I was responsible for seeing the implementation and sustaining a new manufacturing line utilizing new automation technology. I gained the experience of using Allen Bradly programable logic controllers (PLCs) and learning how to read ladder logic. I also got the experience of implementing new tooling and custom built equipment. I learned what goes into undertaking large scale projects and how to allocate financial and human resources accordingly.

I oversee the day-to-day operations for the FDM lab at the MSOE Rapid Prototyping Center. Throughout my time at the RPC, I learned how to fix STL files using the Materialize Magics software as well as how to set up and run industrial grade 3D printers. I learned about different types of materials from ABS plastic to ULTEM, which is used in high temperature applications. I also gained experience quoting parts as well as communicating with consortium members to make sure that they are using the correct process and material to fit their project's needs.

At Case Agriculture, I was responsible for updating machine programs, creating Standard Operating Procedures, updating tooling lists, and design work. I learned the programming language of G and M Code and gained valuable experience of what it is like to work for a large corporation.

I helped maintain the grounds of All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, IL during the summer of 2020 and the summer of 2021. It taught me what having a 40 hour a week job is like and taught me the discipline of showing up to work on time.
