I'm a Data Scientist for J.P. Morgan Chase Commercial Real Estate. In my current role I am responsible for building the future state risk reporting for our real estate bank, which handles construction, purchase, refinance, and community development over 25MM. I have recently remodeled our database into a more effective snowflake schema to support reinventing all of our C-level portfolio management reporting. I work with senior risk executives to provide ad hoc analysis requested at their level or above, leveraging open source, third party, and business data analyzed in Python and Tableau. I enjoy coding and data science, I am an active participant in our internal analyst community as well as a leader in our Veteran group. The wealth of data available provides our business the opportunity to deliver better products and services to our customers quicker than we have before. I am working with leaders within our analyst and reporting teams to highlight the opportunity to enrich our data with open sourced data and reduce lending risk. Before joining JPMC, I worked for Capital One in both Home Loan Origination and Loan Servicing in operational and technical roles. I worked with amazing teams there, running the tax, insurance, and escrow servicing processes and coding robotic process bots to automate loan servicing tasks.I have a passion for business analysis, automation, and implementing innovative technology solutions. At work I enjoy the challenges and critical thinking problems our current technology migration presents. Outside of work I enjoy home improvement projects, DIY automation projects with Python, and home brewing.I have a MEng from Arizona State, a BS from West Point, and have completed my Lean Six Sigma Black Belt CertificationFeel free to contact me if you would like to connect:Joey Paolini | joey.d.paolini@gmail.com | 806.773.6484
