Run in the Dark is a worldwide annual running event focused on raising funds for paralysis research.During my 10-week internship, I had the opportunity to gain insight into the organisation's strategies and previous marketing approaches and performance. Additionally, I was responsible for drafting various types of content for Run in the Dark, such as blogs, emails, and social media posts, and reviewing and editing copy and imagery for both Run in the Dark and Mark Pollock. I also scheduled social media posts using Social Pilot and created a content calendar for TikTok, where I posted content and reviewed its performance. My tasks also included research projects, such as compiling global podcast appearance pitches, engaging with social media influencers, and interacting with the Strava community. Finally, I updated website pages on WordPress.
