Key business partner to senior level members of the SFS Leadership Team supporting and challenging business partners in order to realize financial short term, mid-term and longer term strategic business goals. I play a key role in translating strategy into LT Operations Plan, facilitating the annual Budget process and setting financial targets and milestone for relevant business partners. Role also includes support on various other key initiatives related to or driven within SFS, Global Finance or Corbion.

Finance partner to the North American Operations side of the business with over $0.6 billion revenue with 6 production sites in North America. As a member of the Operations Management Team in North America I support to drive increased productivity, efficiency and cost awareness of any issues impacting the plant's preformance. This is effectuated by providing strong financial support and challenging Manufacturing & Supply Chain Management to realize the (Financial) goals of the Organization.

Finance partner for $0.8 billion revenue business unit with 14 production sites around the globe, providing strategic guidance, developed financial forecasting processes improving accuracy business expectations, and in depth analysis of revenues and margins. • Designed numerous relational database analysis providing daily revenue and gross profit flash reports graphically depicting timely and relevant sales and profit by product line to senior executives versus plan in a changing commercial market. • Managed Cost and Site controllers for the Hydrocolloids Business Unit. • Analyzed and presented plans for expansions/utilizations, providing ROI’s with savings projections. • Analyze and direct the budget process and cost controls. Review monthly/quarterly financial analysis and accounting practices aligning procedures with Corporate finance policies, recommending changes to improve systems and financial performance.

• Responsible for training the production plants’ finance staff on corporate budget, accounting and reporting procedures and assisting them with implementation of IT systems. • Develop and updated improved reliability of production costing reports from the plants, thus enabling consistent reporting from Operations. Coordinated to ensure the proper implementation of the reports. Issue overall operations reports to the Director of Operations and the Divisional Managerial group. • Analyzed and presented plans on expansions of all the production facilities due to growth in the Hydrocolloids market, enabling the balance of global production. In some cases this has resulted in change in management thinking and strategic planning for the Division and further projects on expansions, capacity utilizations, and optimizations.• Partner with management quantifying business opportunities and help drive cost reductions.

• Responsible for coordinating Division internal and external materials flow to meet marketing needs. This includes plans for raw material supply, flow of intermediate products between 11 global production/blend sites, shipment and production plants, and shipments to customers. • Responsible for adequate utilization of available information on Marketing needs, prognosis, and orders for finished products per plant/blending site in production planning and in schedule of intermediate product transfer between global sites. • Responsible for analyzing supply performance and customer complaints related to supply precision and logistics. This includes analysis of order handling and lead-time with responsibility to suggest improvements and discuss identified problems with logistics department at relevant production sites.
