I have 35 years of experience serving Berkeley Lab(DOE), California State Department of Water Resources(DWR), Pacific Gas and Electric Co(PGE), the Bureau of Reclamation, Folsom Dam (DOI, BOR), Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD), the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP), IBEW Electric Utility Contractors and the United States Nuclear Navy.  I completed my Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in May of 2000. I am confident my breadth of experience will serve you well.Throughout my career, I have organized and directed workers, interpreted policies, implemented regulations, created best work practices and methods. As a Safety Representative and Facilitator of SMUD’s Electrical Trades Group, I implemented training to support a behavior-based approach to safe work conditions. Serving on joint labor and management committees has provided me with increased awareness for training and safety programs. I have served on committees to create Preferred Work Methods and Best Practices. I have instructed Cable Splicer Apprentice classes, provided apprentice evaluations, trainee progress, and updated curriculum used to teach theory and practical applications. I enjoy the opportunities and additional responsibilities associated with working on special projects.I pride myself on being a craftsman, committed to values and integrity, who can motivate staff by demonstrating the benefits of assuming ownership in each project, taking accountability and responsibility to a greater level and reaching for self imposed levels of excellence. I am dedicated to solving difficult problems and enjoy working in a collaborative environment by sharing the celebrations of each milestone as a new success. I am capable of handling changes and maintaining momentum through an organizations evolutionary growth, striving toward goals of efficiency and production, never losing sight of safe work practices.I enjoy work allows me to fully utilize my skills while meeting challenges. I am committed to a setting where diversity is valued. I am committed to offering leadership and professionalism through my position.
