I manage a team of customer focused, software engineers sitting in between pre-sales, post-sales, and engineering in three core functions. We answer questions from “How does this work?” to “Why doesn’t this work?” to “Can you make this work?" across a multitude of projects spanning various clients internally and externally each day.1. Internal Research & Development - Fast moving, full life cycle software projects (anywhere in the stack) from internal tooling to customer facing features. A "Skunk Works" style function of our team.2. Advanced Configuration - taking on the most complex customer onboarding tasks and ensuring the needs of the client are met at completion of onboarding. Continuing to support complex configurations for onboarded clients. 3. L3 Support - Final escalation point in the support lifecycle before it goes to our core engineering teams, we take on the complex and obscure asks the clients have or system defects. We also function as first take of analyzing bugs through an engineering lens.

Primarily worked on the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope on the optical filter assembly. Worked on various internal research and development projects from planning through execution.

Special Warfare and Expeditionary Systems Electro-Optics Division

I worked for the NSLS-II Optical Metrology Team on setting up and testing a cyclic interferometer design that would allow detection of the tilt of a mirror on a nanometer scale. The primary use of this setup is for the calibration of the collimators used by the team.

Was hired as a design engineer to develop core system functionality of a customizable power meter. Work consisted mostly of part selection and hardware/software integration.

Used virtual reality to create an immersive telepresence lab space in a collaborative internship between the Air Force Research Lab and NASA Glenn Research Center. We developed programs that allow virtual and physical robots to communicate in order to match positional and rotational data so that anything that happens to the physical robot is replicated virtually and vice versa. Also, we created a virtual system that allows users to find a basic estimation of power consumption while driving a robot.We were also tasked with a two week sprint project, where we developed an autonomous attitude correction system for a CubeSat (micro-satellite) that maximizes the efficiency of photo-voltaic cells on board by keeping the array normal to a light source.
