I've continued to focus on new server deployment at our 30MW facility. This includes regular identification of systemic issues. I actively contribute to cross-team discussion in order to mitigate delays. Whenever possible, I follow up with feature requests to improve the deployment process and meet larger organization-level delivery goals. Many of these deployments fall under the umbrella of new products Google is testing for internal and external customers alike.In this Lead role, machine repair SLAs are also my responsibility; our team has maintained 100% compliance for the past 5 monthsMentorship is a key part of building a resilient team, and I've taken an active role within my site and across Google's global fleet of data centers (6+ countries) to foster knowledge and professional growth in my peers. This has included dedicated 1:1 sessions, as well as lecture formats on a variety of critical facility topics.Data Security is a paramount concern for Google. I regularly engage with our Security Operations team to propose access control solutions in keeping with our high standards.For the past year I've offered after-hours oncall support for the site.

I act as a project lead for new network hardware deployments. I work with a team to ensure the quality installation of server hardware and components across infrastructure programs. Our team installs, configures, tests, troubleshoots and maintains hardware and server software. I work with others to identify problems and create solutions for computing architecture.

I've delivered a variety of lectures which focus around the lives of Eastern American Indians and Euro-American colonists as they relate to the late 17th through 18th centuries. Topics illustrated daily life, martial pursuits and customs of native warriors, body modification practises (with comparisons to modern trends and medical considerations). These have been delivered across a spectrum of age and education demographics, most often mixed. This called for the qualification of complex historical scenarios for wider audience understanding.

As owner of a small business I replicate artifacts associated with Colonial and historic Native American cultures. This requires intensive study of extant and archaeological examples of goods manufactured in the Americas and Europe, and familiarity with curatorial practice. As a Historic Interpreter at Fort Dobbs, North Carolina's only Seven Years War historic site, I educate and inspire guests to delve deeper into their past on a local and global scale. My work takes place on a 30-acre site which currently includes an intensive reconstruction effort. Some of my duties also include- Program development- Site preparation and safety for daily operations & special programming- Event planning- Volunteer management and development- Donor relations- Interpretive material production- Retail operations and design.- Research and copy editing newsletter publications- Coordinating & supporting other sites in the NC DNCR network.

As blacksmith interpreter I work with a team to produce forged items used by 700 interpreters and 350,000 guests on a daily basis. The work of the Anderson Armoury shops are in high demand and this is reflected in the fine detail of finished products meant for use and sale.

Studying the history of food culture in Colonial Virginia & around the world. Recreating recipes and following historic norms of the 18th century kitchen to represent domestic, military, and professional levels of food preparation.

I work with a team of other historians on the reproduction of George Washington's campaign tent, used during the American Revolution. The tent is remarkable not only for having survived relatively intact, but for its known association with the first Commander-in-Chief. Eighteenth century tents are scarce, and the ability to reproduce Washington's field headquarters will allow museum visitors to have a more thorough understanding of wartime logistics from a civilian production, and military logistical perspective. The project is a joint venture between the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, and the Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia, and will be used as a travelling exhibit upon its completion. Other material concerns of the nascent Continental Army, such as uniforms, knapsacks, and "enlisted men's" tents are also constructed and presented to the public in a holistic manner.This project has called upon my experience with professional garment manufacture for use in historic site interpretation. Additionally, my skill with woodworking is applied to the accurate manufacture of the tent poles and pins which are integral to the function of the tents. While preforming this work I have had to swiftly expand my knowledge base about the multiple trade shops that I operate in and speak confidently with guests about those trades, as well as my own.

To adequately meet the standards of the Fort Ticonderoga mission and of our department of Interpretation I assisted in pre-season research, material (clothing and accoutrement) production, acted as a liaison between departments and for volunteers during special living history events, and developing web content and signage (including QR:Web interface). Our team worked closely with our Curator and internationally-recognised collections to ensure the product offered to visitors was factual and engaging. I was also a key holder, prepping the facilities before and after special events and tours.

In this role I developed and presented programming related to Eastern Woodland native peoples and those interacting with them during the Eighteenth Century near Fort Ticonderoga. As needed I also interpreted the life of soldiers garrisoned there in the Seven Years War and American War for Independence. The coordination of special events, and production of web media were also accomplished while speaking daily to patrons from a variety of ages and education levels. I was also a keyholder involved with site opening and closing procedure.

Guided tours of historic cabins and demonstration of colonial American lifeways for school and public groups. Tasks included supervision of volunteer activity, maintenance of the site in a period and modern context.
